10 Private Luxury Tours in Amsterdam Worth Booking

1.Private Luxury Cruise with BBQ and Drinks

★★★★★★★★★★4.2 · 30 reviews · 2 hours Our pick

Review of Amsterdam’s private BBQ canal cruise, with live cooking, unlimited drinks, local commentary, route details, value, and practical tips.

Private Amsterdam canal cruise for up to 10 with unlimited drinks, a local skipper, canopy cover, and a silent disco soundtrack.

“I booked this boat party as a surprise for my boyfriend on his 30th birthday for a group of 8 of us. Overall I was quite disappointed with the experience and would not recommend to others. The boat was dated and the cushions etc were quite dirty. I’m not sure what I was expecting in regards to the unlimited drinks, but I expected them to be presented in somewhat a nice manner but instead there was just a mini fridge with a selection of tins, small plastic cups and a bucket with a couple of bottles of wine in. The driver didn’t speak to us or engage at all, and…”

4.Zaanse Schans, Edam, Marken & Volendam – Private Luxury Tour

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 14 reviews · 7 to 8 hours (approx.) · from $692

Explore Dutch windmills, cheese farms, fishing villages, and canals on a private countryside tour from Amsterdam.

“Though the driver was punctual and the car was quite nice, the title is misleading. We never got a tour. We got a chauffeur, who barely spoke any English (though it was dubbed as an English tour). He merely drove us from place to place and then had us walk around on our own and check out the sites. There was zero communication or description or discussion of any sort about any of the places that we went, though they were all beautiful.”

5.Private Luxury Cruise with Pizza and Drinks

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 8 reviews · 1.5 hours

Review of Amsterdam’s private 1.5-hour pizza cruise, with canal sights, unlimited drinks, private groups, price, guides, and practical tips.

“Op zich een mooie boottoer. De boot an sich was wat versleten en niet echt luxueus te noemen. De gids en kapitein waren vriendelijk maar we hebben weinig tot geen uitleg gekregen mbt bezienswaardigheden. Het was ook even zoeken voor de pickup plaats. De pizza’s waren goed, van een gekende pizzaketen. Maar al bij al, louter voor de pizza, vrij prijzig in vergelijking met andere boottrips”

Review of a private Amsterdam to Bruges day trip with hotel pickup, luxury transport, WiFi, historic sights, and optional Ghent.

“Redone was a fantastic driver. He arrived on time. Showed us where to get tours in Bruges. The 4 hours was just enough time to do a canal tour, horse carriage tour, sit down for a nice lunch in the square and souvenir shop. Redone had said if we needed more time it was not a problem but there was an extra surcharge. He texted us at our meeting time and sent a pin with his location so we could meet him. Altogether a great day trip from Amsterdam.”

“We had a wonderful time on our dinner cruise. The boat is the perfect size for our family of four. The ability to completely enclose the cabin made the cruise enjoyable on a cool evening. The food and wine were both excellent. Most important of all is that the captain balanced being a very informative tour guide and giving us the space for family time. And, of course, we got to see the wonderful city of Amsterdam from its beautiful canals. Thank you for having us in your “living room”.”
